Center of Austronesian Culture, NTTU

The Center of Austronesian Culture is a new research center of

National Taitung University. This center was built upon the results

accumulated over the years of the researches accomplished at

NTTU in the field of Taiwan Indigenous, Austronesian Culture and

Education. The foundation of the Center of Austronesian Culture

enabled a more lively application of research, as well as more

practical academic research units.

The Center of Austronesian Culture integrates National Taitung

University and Taitung County’s information in order to promote

actively Taiwan Indigenous and Austronesian culture. The focus

is put on the promotion of education and the application of research

so that  Austronesian culture continues to be NTTU’s main research

field.
